I have been giving this some serious thought. Unfortunately there is nothing comparable to take its place

I've always hated Facebook... I made an account once because someone kind of pushed me into it, but I never used it. Deleted my account about 5 years ago and it felt great! #FuckFacebook

I deleted my Facebook account back in 2009, surprisedly when I tried to log in after a couple of years I realised that my account is the same, all the details was there, photos, friends, comments. This is not normal.

Well, we need a forum where people can say what they want and not worry about a ban hammer falling on them just because some folks don't like an opinion. That forum isn't facebook, and it isn't twitter either.

Shiiiiet. I cant even log in to my @facebook account , my fb email address doesn't work etc. It's like I was never there. You might have it wrong. What does #markZuckerberg do with all the stuff from "deactivated" (self or site) accounts ?

I haven't used it in more than a decade but my account still exists... I don't remember my password and all that jazz so I can't even get to the 'deleting' part. 😅
