In Opinion Op-Ed contributor Sinan Antoon writes: "The invasion of Iraq is often spoken of in the United States as a 'blunder,' or even a 'colossal mistake.' It was a crime. Those who perpetrated it are still at large."http://nyti.ms/2FV8NNv

Is this the same New York Times that helped sell the Iraq War?

And let's not forget the role the NYT played (Judith Miller in particular) in that crime. People like weapons inspectors Scott Ritter and Hans Blix were telling the truth (No WMDs) before the 3/19/2003 invasion, but were ignored by MSM. No lesson learned. Next WBOL: Syria.

GW put US in that war, not the media.

The deep state put us in that war (and most others after WW2). The deep state controls both the executive branch and the mainstream media to a large degree. Consider Gen. Wesley Clark's "7 countries in 5 years" (regime change) Pentagon memo, for example.

Appeal to ridicule fallacy. Perhaps you're unaware a supermajority of 74% of Americans now believe "a group of unelected government and military officials secretly manipulate or direct national policy" (a widely accepted definition of "deep state"). http://bit.ly/2II4dnK pic.twitter.com/FJ12a0IFSw

A supermajority don't believe that unicorns exist, either, but that doesn't make it true.

I agree with that supermajority also. Nonetheless, the existence of such a supermajority means the burden of proof is on you if you claim unicorns do exist. Similarly, if you're in the bottom 26th %ile when it comes to deep state knowledge, the burden of proof is on you.

Actually, the burden of proof is ALWAYS on the person who makes the claim.
