This should never be an issue. They should never have to "make tips". They should be paid for their labor. Not by me as a patron, by their employer. I dont pay the amazon drivers salary, I shouldnt be paying my red lobster waiters either.

Ive never supported fake flirting as a method. Its a fast way to draw unnecessary attention of an inappropriate nature given the circumstances. Also, while relevant, this is also in poor taste given context.

Don't just make this about women in the industry. I have had more than a few women, often in the presence of significant others, put their hands and eyes all over me. Making this only about women trivializes the amount of people it truly affects

everyone's a victim i guess? Guess what... you serve booze hounds for a living, you have to have a thick skin. every bartender i've known and worked with knows how to handle the degenerates and drunks.

Men are rancid. It’s in their depraved perverted nature. They cause all the problems in the world since the dawn of time.

I have no sympathy for anyone (especially a woman in this age of #GBV) who would welcome abuse in the name of comfort or opportunity & then complain afterwards. #Bartender, #Waitress, #Waiter, #Service

No one welcomes abuse. They tolerate it so they don't get fired.

It sounds like the restaurant business needs to be reevaluated for employee salaries just as Teachers' should also. Waiters should be on fair salary so they won't need to worry for tips.
