Yes, because a celeb in public office is working out so well the first time.

It’s not the first time. The 2016 wasn’t the first election where a celebrity ran (and won) office.

No we want a smart, experienced, progressive activist who has integrity, who cares about We the People and is not a corporate DNC shill. aka @CynthiaForGov @CynthiaNixon #CynthiaforNewYork #CynthiaNixon

Such a big task to handle with zero experience. How will she respond when a huge snow storm hits, Or if there's a a train accident, or God forbid a terror attack? As we're seeing with POTUS, you need experience.

Please correct your article. Cynthia Nixon would be the first openly #bisexual NYS govenor. She is a self avowed bisexual and supports all LGBTQ+ rights, not just gay rights. #BiErasure = #Biphobiapic.twitter.com/AtQaWA1Fqb

It's not the celebrity that is important but the heart & soul of the person who happens to be a celebrity.

But as much as I respect Cynthia as a decent human being, the Not-So-Great Pumpkin poisoned the well for entertainers who wish to enter politics.

Agreed but we should hold anyone wishing to enter public service/politics to the same high standard & demand better from all public servants
