The Austin police chief sent an unusual public message to the unknown bomber or bombers on Sunday: "We assure you that we are listening. We want to understand what brought you to this point, and we want to listen to you.”http://nyti.ms/2pp4B1m

Based on this, we can assume the APD thinks the bomber is a white man.

It was on the roadside, they trip the wire. It is possible it wasn't meant for them. It seems they were out for a bike ride. Do you know the demographic of the neighbnorhood?

you cant call it a hate crime. The person/s doing it have not made any cause or motive known, no manefisto is known. All we know is people in differnt parts of town have been bombed. THATS IT. It says nothing behind the motive no matter what you think

Definitely a little psychology in his background. Affirmation and understanding with acceptance, the greatest bait you may use!

I wouldn’t call it a “bait”, they need to open a communication channel. The bomber will not be necessarily caught by just responding.

First and foremost, thank you for your service Sir! Secondly, I can assure you that I am not a "bot", as a matter of fact, I just learned what that term even means. We may see things through a different lens but I wish you joy and happiness and a great day! Thank you once again!pic.twitter.com/Lw7Ipkphi6
