Studies show that the more powerful women get the more they have unflattering adjectives thrown at them.

Making this argument about gender does her a discredit. Just because she's been a poor leader doesn't automatically make arguing such sexist. The Democratic party has been lead incredibly poorly during a time that couldn't afford it.
-
Nope. Try again. She is not perfect, but compare her to Mitch McConnell. She let Connor Lamb throw her under the bus in the interest of the party and that will never ever happen in the Republican Party.
-
Nah. It's time for her to step down and let someone more in touch to take the lead. I'm pretty tired of people playing the woman card too. As a female, it's embarrassing to see. Makes us all look bad so please stop.
-
I would love to see younger people like Kamala Harris, Ted Lieu, Joe Kennedy, or Adam Schiff take the lead. New leadership would be great. I am just calling out people who are saying Nancy Pelosi needs to retire while at the same time saying Joe Biden should run in 2020.
-
Our next candidate for president needs to be young and energetic. The opposite of Trump.

Not now FFS! Stop this bs NYT.
-
Exactly the right time. Before the next election. Fresh face, new energy and ideas are needed badly.
-
I think survival of our democracy is most important now. Democratic politics later. We need to stick together and be resolute or the
@GOP and Trump will ruin our country. The Democrats are too good at snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. No in-fighting!

It’s lazy, weak, shows Dems as ungrateful and needs to STOP She’s done more for the party/country before breakfast than others collectively have done all day. Such a turnoff.@RealTimersThanks. I am about sick of the endless sexism.
-
I'm sick of people playing the woman card.
-
I'm not a woman, and I see it. The hatred for Pelosi and Clinton is so utterly disproportionate to the actual moderate positions that simple political disagreement can't alone explain it.
-
I dislike Clinton and Nancy Pelosi because they're old, out of touch, and lacking in fresh ideas. I couldn't care less about sex.
-
Not saying you have to be sexist to dislike them. I'm saying the depth and scope of the hatred against them indicates sexism. All a Republican has to do is say their names and the base goes wild in an absolutely content-free way.
-
I think it's because they're Republicans. They didn't hate Sarah Palin.
-
They will accept a certain type of woman, true enough. But when a woman doesn't conform to type, they have zero tolerance.
-
Yes exactly. They like the Republican type.
