Cancer is racist too, apparently. We are living in incredibly absurd times.

Everything seems to be linked to racial inequality.
-
And who’s fault is that?
-
I’m not being snarky, everything does come down to inequality

It is common knowledge that socioeconomic disadvantage can increase cancer rates. Lack of healthy food choices, inadequate healthcare, stress and depression from living in disadvantaged neighborhoods are all factors. This is not racism this is reality.

I find a lot of ideas on how to cook vegetarian and vegan with resources available at my public library. More and more people are choosing a plant based diet and our world will be better for it. Thank you for your contribution to a kinder and more humane world.

Stress, poor diets, poor nutrition, lack of medical care, living in food deserts. It's a combination of factors that all feed into cancer materializing and growing. There's so much inequality in healthcare and diets from a very young age that this is no surprising at all

There are many factors, of course, some diseases are triggered by genes, which makes them more common in people according to their race, gender, etc... and yes, there are also others triggered by the combination of many other external elements (not biological, but social)

African-American men are more likely to die from prostate cancer because they have higher testosterone, which is linked to increased chances of getting prostate cancer. This is known, it's not racism.
