        Sugar is a soft drug. It very much is the issue. The depth you refer to is the empires built on the back of sugar plantations. It’s a cash crop that is extremely addictive.

        This article is dangerous in its obvious ignorance. Telling people to read labels for sugar content rather than total carbohydrates is stone-aged advice. For example, saltines have a faster glycemic impact than table sugar. Added sugars are not the enemy, it's ALL refined carbs.
