The ghost of Angelina Jolie past hangs over the new, suitably titled “Tomb Raider,” a dreary, inept reboot starring a misused Alicia Vikanderhttp://nyti.ms/2DyA5Y2

I am no Film Critic, but i find Alicia Vikander very dull and shallow.. she displays emotion as well as a fish..

This film will be a bust even before it hits theaters. You can’t put back in the jar what Angelina brought to this character. Not to mention she was considered one of the most attractive women in Hollywood, and a above average action star. Sorry

It was never a good franchise. The original was a weak film, they should have just left it as a video game.

Were we supposed to be surprised that it wasn't going to be good? Typically, movies based on games hardly perform well in theaters. This was not going to be an exception.

It's hard to believe that still happens when video game stories are almost rivals for film screenplays. But I shudder at the thought of an Uncharted movie.

I remember a video I saw saying that the cause might come from the lack of interaction that video games provide compared to a movie. Like both have stories, but only in one are you actually part of the story. Catch my drift?

The reboot games are delightful and empowering. There’s nothing empowering about this movie. They removed her intelligence and her survival journey. Her dad leads the plot, not Lara.
