Snapchat shares fell 4 percent after Rihanna criticized an ad for making light of domestic violence. The ad asked whether users would rather “slap Rihanna” or “punch Chris Brown.”http://nyti.ms/2Gxih2v

Thank you Rihanna for calling them out on this. It’s not funny and it’s not right and companies need to be held accountable for unacceptable actions. Domestic violence is never a joking matter, period.

Yass. That comeback is precise. Domestic Violence is a serious matter. Rihanna with her reasoning mentioned it's not her personal life but others who are still traumatic about their situation .

Dude. That wasn’t my point. Didn’t even see the ad. My point is that celebs control the fate of the stock value...

Um. You just proved my point...you’re right, For basically every company their stock doesn’t fluctuate by billions of dollars based on a celeb tweet...yet, this has happened to Snap twice in past Month. I was speaking from an investors opinion.

side note: the mainstream entertainers are not gonna win any battle against snapchat. because snapchat is one of those companies that is empowering teens. and teenagers like decentralization. even if that runs counter to mainstream artist revenue stream.

@Snapchat yanked the ad the minute it was flagged. Yes, great if they would have seen it in advance and blocked it, but you can't catch every ad that is offensive before it goes up online.

it fell after Kardashian complained. it went back up. it falls after Rihanna complained, it will go back up. nobody is gonna beat snapchat and the teenagers.. nobody. only snapchat can beat itself, if it's #leadership values are not in right place.
