Since dogs now have better protection than our children - I’m gonna adopt a pup this weekend and have my son bring the pooch to school on Monday.

It's nice to know our government can leap into action when a cute puppy dies. If teenagers are smart, they'll start wearing cute puppy costumes to school.

For the record, I love dogs. No puppy should be put in an overhead compartment, just as no innocent human should be torn apart by bullets fired from a weapon whose only purpose is to maximize the certainty of its targets' demise.
