Would love to see a bill that cares as much about the safety of high school kids.

I'd like to think we can do both.

That’s nice, but could they please put that much effort out to protect our school children?

Since dogs now have better protection than our children - I’m gonna adopt a pup this weekend and have my son bring the pooch to school on Monday.

It's nice to know our government can leap into action when a cute puppy dies. If teenagers are smart, they'll start wearing cute puppy costumes to school.

I wish Senator cared enough about our kids to introduce legislation keeping AR-15’s out of the hands of citizens so maybe at least our school kids could feel safe!

Why is nobody asking for the mental state of the person who put this dog in the overhead bin in the first place?

For the record, I love dogs. No puppy should be put in an overhead compartment, just as no innocent human should be torn apart by bullets fired from a weapon whose only purpose is to maximize the certainty of its targets' demise.
