Britain wants the support of its allies in taking action against Russia, but relations with those allies are shakier than they have been in generationshttp://nyti.ms/2HzEPyT

A broken Trade deal does not mean support is Weak. The uk has many other security deals in place within Europe etc and have always supported every country that asked for it. This Article is a prime example of spreading shit! Every Country knows they have to pick a side this week.

But not only that, You miss the most important point to this week. In Russia they hold there big Election. How funny this attack happens now, knowing the Uk would be forced to react due to Brexit to not look weak! How they knew Putins reaction would lead to this.

That's why Putin feels he can target the UK. He's been playing a waiting game. He sowed discord in the West by escalating tensions around Syria which has fuelled the migrant crisis. European countries have then seen a resurgence of extreme right wing and separatist movements.

Its not really about inflicting pain but responding to a foreign attack. Russia's involvement in the Salisbury attack adds to a growing list of covert activities targeting other countries. This indiscriminate behavior will reinvigorate Britain's allies to join hands & fight back!

Another response/precedent: US imposed sanctions on 19 Russians for alleged interference in the 2016 American election, including 13 indicted by Mueller. Let's now wait for more countries to act.

Ally, not allies. Only one left. And the leader of that one sees nothing abnormal in these attacks. After all, he has repeatedly excused them. To wit: "You think America is so innocent?", and "Our country does plenty of killing, also." Twitter button muted on the latest one.

Precisely the goal of Brexit, Russia's cyberactive measures was heavily involved in the Brexit; also the active measures employed in election of Donald Trump, who is clearly a puppet ,and acutely incapable of saying anything negative about Putin or Russia !

They don't even have evidence that Russia was involved. A former spy has many enemies and friendly sanction is more common than you may think. He was too close to Brittain's chemical weapons lab for one. Somebody may have seen this as an opportunity to provoke a desired response.
