Is this even a question? Teenagers are the future and they have every right to protest and speak out as adults do. In America, everyone has an opinion/ voice and has the ability to stand up or kneel for what they believe in!

memories of my civics teacher who taught us how to think critically and take a stand on an issue. Taught us to express our thoughts and use our voices. Taught us to look at both sides. Greatest lessons ever! Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

We should be teaching them how to be nicer to the odd ball also.. Not just that bitching and moaning is gonna get them what they want that they actually need to put into practice what they are fighting for

Research says yes? Should kids learn discipline, decorum and common decency? Well, common sense would suggest yes but research tells us they should behave like 5 year olds and protest every single time they hear the word no.

My generation protested Vietnam, and we started a revolution of music, arts, science and love and peace. This generation can do the same with practical smart laws going forward, a new generation of blue wavers, bring them on

Research? How about common sense: NO ONE ELSE is protesting on their behalf. Christ, this place has become a horrible cartoon.

Yeah... if they're rightfully afraid of themselves & other students getting shot at... then, they should protest... I didn't need a study for that...

Better make them serve detention cuz they went out and learnd something today by participating, rather than reading a book that board them to tears. Not surprising, School administrators don't DO! DO they?

Absolutely teens should demonstrate. Otherwise it’s complacency, or worse: apathy!
