This cynical use of the #ParklandSchoolShooting tragedy to destroy progress in dismantling the school-to-prison pipeline must be resisted.pic.twitter.com/wDYkAVOlyU

The shooter in Florida was a MAGA. Even wearing the hat in his instagram profile pic.

1). Parkland shooter *had* been expelled from MSD HS. 2). Vast majority of school shooters are white males

you do realize the majority of 'children' or 'teens' in schools shootings are of a white majority in the population, you do realize the majority of other shootings don't pan out for your stats of 'white' men

If we widen the discussion, of course the demographics change. But this article, and this discussion, is about school shootings.

It hasn't been minority students targeting and shooting up schools, it's been disaffected white males. Like many forms of systemic racism, minority students are more likely to be suspended or expelled, but all school shooters have been white males.

I guess it escaped the idiot president that the school shootings (and nearly all mass shootings) are perpetrated by white guys.

Wait now. Rewind. Because surely you didn't intend to imply that minority students are the reason for school shootings or that protecting them from discrimination caused an increase. Surely you did not. Please amend headline to clarify that's Trump's stance.

So you want to take students who need assistance, extra help and instead of giving them social tools thru counseling and social workers to turn around these students, you want to thro them out to become more isolated? How does THAT help?

http://wapo.st/1HUDy3h?tid=ss_tw-bottom&utm_term=.5cf692e9ae35 … Interesting that Rubio is the one to raise these concerns seeing as he is one of the biggest beneficiaries of private prisons. (40% of Juvenile detention facilities in the US are private, for-profit)

Have we had it yet? With Trump blaming Obama for everything but the weather? The constant vertigo from his distractions, partisan division, blaming, whining? It's going to to get uglier, as we inch towards elections. Blow up his own country before losing power. No joke.
