Donald Trump’s election shook one Ohio man so badly he swore off all political news. But what are the ethics of ignorance in the Trump era?http://nyti.ms/2GeXErE

I know this guy. He's rich. The low income and retired women who knew him on the HC campaign are now running one of the most effective resistance groups in the country 10 miles from his house, and this is the story @samdolnick covers? He can't see past his own privilege.

I was judgy and pissed off until I got to the part about The Lake. Hell, that's more of a contribution than most people will make to leave things a bit better in this chaotic time.

Ignorant? Sounds like a smart man trying to preserve his sense of well being. That said, it's a luxury most Americans don't have & it's a good thing too!

The low income and retired women who worked with this yuppie on the campaign before he went home and hid have been fighting like hell to flip congress blue every single day since. @samdolnick, why are you covering this guy-- be cause he's rich, white, and male just like you?
