The difference between places with so many people and places like Finland. We have the luxury of personal space. We think people from places like China are rude, because we cannot understand the assertive manner in which they claim space. It’s a problem of space poverty.

That's a great point. Having lived in both rural and densly populated urban settings I notice those nuances, too.

How did you come to this from saying that there shouldn't be woman-only cars because it's against gender equality (making it sexist)? And how is going wherever there is space in an overcrowded train being a douche-bag?

What if the cars are full of men *who identify while riding the subway* as women?

Well, the overpopulation is a issue hard to handle. Maybe add a % to men. Idk, something like 80% women and 20% men.

The ratio is due to selective abortions and infanticide.

In an ideal world there should be no women-only subway cars... The answer to misogyny is not pink carriages... 🙄🙄

China is a very masculine society, and one that experiences a high level of power difference (almost like a caste system). The subway “volunteer” shouting at a male executive to give way to women would have zero effect.

Women are nothing more than a sex object for men. They are constantly groped in public. Men have that right and women don’t stop them. It’s the way it is in China.
