With no collective bargaining rights, no contract, and no legal right to strike, West Virginia teachers managed to mount a statewide work stoppage anyway. Public employees in other states have taken notice.http://nyti.ms/2p245WX

They got to the point where they had to take action & took a chance. I'm very happy that it worked out for them. And it's right that other groups consider the same actions. The loss of unions with their bargaining rights have eroded the quality of life for all in the middle class

FL teachers should take note of WV teachers’ actions and follow with their own walk out. Kudos to WV teachers

The way the world is these days it's a wonder we still have teachers at all. They deserve the pay they are asking for and more. They now put their lives on the line to educate and protect our children. Respect the job they do and pay them for it, country wide!

Kudos to the teachers! But I think the Donor Class (Kochs and their ilk) will be looking at clubs, mounted cops and guns for a future response.
