I do have a high regard for Americans, but I don’t understand why you lot can’t spell or pronounce “aluminium”?

What is the difference between aluminum and aluminium? Aluminum is the American spelling and aluminium is the British spelling for this ductile, malleable silver-white metal. In 1812, its discoverer, Sir H. Davy, first called the metal alumium but then modified the word.

In the same spirit we should put tariffs on car imports to protect horse farmers, pen manufacturers to protect pencil companies, and tariffs on MP3 players to protect cassette makers. Also tariffs on cassette makers to protect vinyl makers. #MAGAMyAss

Good. Let the idiotic/ignorant @realDonaldTrump go ahead with tariffs. In Europe, the agencies don't even need to pass any laws. European consumers will boycott American products (we did it for China) until the stupid realises what he is doing.

@realDonaldTrump is a total bonehead. I’m sure he was told that tariffs actually hurt business and consumers in the US. Chinese producers have enough domestic demand and demand around Asia, if the resultant tariffs would have reduced demand. Would have increased costs & prices
