Being a professional means, among others things, not personalizing every interaction with the public. Just write the ticket and save the lecture, dad, if someone is jaywalking.

Jaywalking? I guess, given the seriousness of the offense, he's lucky to be alive!

Well I won’t be vacationing there ever again. I camp in the mountains from time to time. Gotta find a new mountain camping area.

For crossing the street 🤦🏾‍♂️ How many cars went by during the video? Was he really affecting traffic?

Did you watch the video? You can hear the cops telling him they just spoke to him about crossing in front of cars. Why curse at them and be belligerent? Why not put your hands in the car when asked? Why run if it was only a ticket? Why fight the arrest?

They didn't just* speak with him. They chased, choked, and tasered a man trying to get home from work.

Asked to stop arguing with cop, no, asked to put hand on car, he runs, asked to stop resisting fights the whole way through. If he obeyed the cops the first time they pulled him over or even just be respectful the second time he probably doesn't even get a ticket. He earned that.
