More significant miracle makers were T. Edison & A. Graham Bell and there weren't saints. Catholic miracles are just product of imagination of people with faith in God

A great bit. The seat of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton is actually a block away from my favorite bar.

If Oscar was a saint why couldn’t he save himself from getting gunned down? And if god existed then why did he let it happen in a church?

Actually, only God can make a saint. Anyone that is saved by the blood of Jesus Christ is a saint. If the pope would ever actually read the whole Bible for himself and not just read the same small parts over and over he would see that for himself.

Catholics believe that God makes them Saints too. The church merely recognizes the fact that they are saints by cannonizing them.

Not true. The pope thinks he is placing these people at a higher standard of saint. When in fact any saved person wears Christ’s perfect righteousness. In fact when God the Father looks at His children he only sees the righteousness of Christ. It’s Christ’s work, not ours!
