I would think that having a human rights award revoked is at least ten times worse than not having received it in the first place.

These actions are supremely troubling. An award is given to someone for past work or achievement. They clearly merited that award. If/when the awardee falls out of favour with the benefactor entity, is their previous work/achievement now invalid? If no, then why revoke the award?

The Nobel Peace Price should be taken from Obama. The USA was at war throughout his 8 years. I don't call that Peace.

The intent was there...his heart was in the right place in the face of unspeakable alternatives had he done nothing. No winners.

Excellent ! Her Nobel Prize needs to be revoked also as her actions are not compatible with the spirit of the award, and she has made no effort to stop this horrendous ethnic cleansing with rapes and murders by her rogue army.

YES very good. she is no defender of Human Rights of the Rohingya people. She has been turning a blind eye to the genocide that is being perpetrated by her military and part of the citizenry.

You have been brainwashed by the Arab oil funded mainstream media. We Hindus/Sikhs/Jains still love and support Aung San Suu Kyi❤️ You don't know the other side of the story the way we do in India.

I agree. According to the Nobel website: "The Nobel Peace Prize 1991 was awarded to Aung San Suu Kyi for her non-violent struggle for democracy and human rights." Past good deeds (and sacrifice) do not absolve one of all future sins.

Just out of curiosity, I checked to see if they've ever revoked a Nobel Peace Prize before. They have not. In fact, there's an article about this issue from last September. 1/

" 'A peace prize has never been revoked and the committee does not issue condemnations or censure laureates,' said Mr. Stalsett, a former politician and bishop who was a deputy member of the committee in 1991, when Ms. Aung San Suu Kyi received her award..." 2/
