that's fake news
Try talking to a woman sometime.
Well, maybe if they had men-only cars, this wouldn't happen.pic.twitter.com/7CQJVkKoY8
I mean if you’re in a place with 80% women, this seems about right.
That's because I don't know how to draw and the concept is illustrated well enough in the previous image. Even though there is more like 56-57% (130m/100f http://worldpopulationreview.com/world-cities/guangzhou-population/ …) men in this city's population, making it even worse.
Think about it: these trains are overcrowded. There is less space for men (mixed cars) than for women (mixed+women cars). Men are the majority of the population in this city. So of course, they will overflow into women-only cars, unless for every women car, you add 1.3 men cars.
If your stats are right (not questioning them, just haven’t checked myself) then you could have 40% women’s cars and the other 60% would still suffice, right? I’ve been in women’s cars before (in Rio de Janeiro) and it’s not like they’re empty paradises. Just free from gropers.
If you have ~40% women cars, you need to have ~60% MEN cars, not MIXED. That is, in order to have the same strain on both gender. 40% women cars and 60% mixed means men are much more likely not to be able to get on the train than women.
To be fair, I've been on the Beijing subway at rush hour. You don't really pick a car to ride in. U get thrown into one by the stage 5 white water rapids of humanity trying to get on the train.
Women only cars, hear like white only bus
Girl wearing yellow jacket in picture looks like Cally from Battlestar Galactica. That's all I have to add, have a nice day.

Maybe they don’t like #inequality there?
Men delight in excluding women but when women require their own spaces (for safety, FFS), can men extend the smallest of courtesies? No. Because its all about them.

Japan had the same problem, they should see what Japan did to fix it.
