        Alternatively, Hollywood/athletes since they work for privately held companies, keep their pay, and we flip the teachers with politicians. Every teacher gets the pay and benefits of their representative in Congress.

        There’s #power in #labor #unions. Too many people have lost sight of that. They remember mostly that power/#organizations exhibit negative aspects from time to time. That’s why union #leaders must always remember: with great power comes great #responsibility. @GOP @TheDemocrats

        How are they going to pay for this 5% pay raise? My guess is with higher taxes on the less fortunate, such as those on social security, who are already only drawing one-third what the teachers already get. Another example of robbing the poor and giving it to the rich.
