Opioids are not America’s only significant drug problem. Cocaine is the No. 2 killer and claims more lives than heroin among black Americans.http://nyti.ms/2FfgY72

Though statistically not by those prescribed fentanyl but by those who either use prescription grade fentanyl illicitly or obtain illicitly produced fentanyl.

OMG! When it comes to drugs there is so much ignorance around no wonder America uses 90% of the world’s illegal supply. Smh LEARN SOMETHING!

Yeah but America does not care about anything that kills people of color. The US Government pumped drugs into Black communities as part of another #Cointelpro. https://oig.justice.gov/special/9712/ch01p1.htm …

I haven't "partied" since I was 18 and even then I stuck to alcohol. DARE program worked for me👍

There will be approx 88K alcohol related deaths this year and approx 65K drug related deaths. Humans have natural addiction mechanisms that help keep us alive and to procreate, ie eating, sex. Foreign substances effecting these mechanisms are far more addictive. @LBoucherAuthor

Thanks Greg, Yup, alcohol is still the #1 drug, and most ppl with addiction issues start there. No one wants to acknowledge that to combat opiates, we ALSO have to address the drinking culture. Alcoholism has been #normalized @FLOTUS @POTUS

Building the Wall will help STOP 🛑 those drugs from pouring into this country. We’ve got to build the wall! It’s not about politics, it’s not about Trump, it’s about saving lives! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Drugs are coming in by submarines, how is the wall going to help that? Drug cartels will NEVER be outsmarted cause Congre$$ loves their money.

For those that don't read the article and are confused as to what the correlation between the image and drugs is, the image is of an aircraft landing strip used by drug runners in Peru running cocaine. Don't feel bad, I was very confused for a moment.

Nor are people prescribed opioids likely to become addicted or abuse their prescription unless they have a history of addiction or substance abuse.
