And exactly the same description applies to countless other wounds, like those suffered from texting while driving, a REAL threat to American kids that doesn't interest you.

There are laws against texting and driving.

So what? Car crashes do the same damn thing
-
-
you forgot that every 16yr old would be getting a gun under this car analogy. Hmm? Nice try.
-
So you’re saying we can have all the rest of those requirements if 16 yo s have to pass them too? I’m in. Let’s do it.

Guns should have to pass a crash test dummy style test, just like seatbelts, to be sold to civilians. Firing rate, velocity, magazine capacity and damage done to a group of dummies should all be taken into account. Defensive and hunting weapons have no need to be able to do this.
-
The irony is that military style rifles are designed to inflict maximum damage. Hunters kill using guns that minimize the damage so as to harvest healthy meat.
-
If you understood anything about ballistics, you would know how wrong you are.
-
How very unconvincing. Thanks, but I’ll trust the words of a radiologist who sees the damage firsthand. Velocity matters.https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2018/02/what-i-saw-treating-the-victims-from-parkland-should-change-the-debate-on-guns/553937/ …

Velocity measures speed. Bullet weight determines the impact damage. Look up the stats of a .223 vs 7.62×54r.
-
Are you seriously suggesting that speed and impact damage are not related? Basic physics.
-
Think of it this way. A bb traveling 2000fps is hoing to far less physical damage than a heavy bullet. The impact is significantly more dramatic. In terms of hunting, the .223 used in a AR is used for coyotes and smaller. Also likely an fmj bullet that doesn't expand on impact.

Yup Stop attacking our 2nd amendment or you'll see a lot more

Yeah man, I think you’re right. More people need to be shot if they think the guns can be taken away. You tell them boss.

Wait, so assault weapons cause lots of damage? (Insert mind blown gif here)
-
Breaking: Weapons designed by the military are for killing people. Also, the sky is blue and grass is green. More at 11

The NRA disagree that the AR15 (based on the M16) is an assault rifle and nothing more than a deer hunter

You should post some graphic pics so we can send them to our violence-supporting senators and representatives....
