Thanks for your coverage of the story. Most media outlets got *excited* when it was announced there was a shooter on campus, then stopped coverage once it was clear he hadn't shot any students. Shooting ones parents is not insignificant. Shooting <17 people is not unimportant.
Most shootings take place not in mass, but one at a time. Stabbing fatalities too. Let's not count them out. Killings occur daily in every part of the country. They add up into thousands, yet the public and the media only care when the bodies make a huge photogenic pile.
