Haven't a lot of the steel mills in this country gone idle or been shut down over the years? Wouldn't it take billions of dollars and many years to increase production in the US? And, didn't they shut down due to burdens from government regulations? Just wondering

I guess now we should all be so thankful for the GOP Tax plan, we'll need those "crumbs" to cover the cost of inflation once businesses pass on additional costs to consumers.
