Don't know about Rooney's politics, but I do see that mainstream/establishment Republicans are abandoning their party to extremists rather than fighting for it - and, by default, they abandon the idea of a government that works for legislative solutions rather than ideology.

I couldn’t believe that after getting choked up thinking about his own kids getting mowed down by an AR15 he says we shouldn’t ban them because some people have fun shooting them. So “fun” is more important than kids lives?

This man courted the public vote promising to serve and protect them, now he admits he cannot do the job for which he is being paid for, if this was a CEO stating he couldn't protect his workers he would be removed from his position as incompetent, politicians should be the same

Of course you can't, your party caused them. It would take intelligence and courage to fix them. Bye bye.

What's the use? Putin just aired a video of Russian missiles essentially blowing Mar-a-Largo off the map, and @POTUS @realDonaldTrump says nothing. But he takes the time to tweet about Alec Baldwin. From this day forward, Trump has earned the hashtag of #ChickenMan.
