        Driving a car isn't a right either, as well as signing up for welfare, and riding an airplane.. Why do they require ID for buying guns? Cherry picking hypocrites

        It used to be a suggested donation, and people decided not to pay anything. The museum needs to keep up its facilities and insure its art. There are still discounts for children and the elderly. Paying to see amazing works of art isn’t unheard of. Perhaps we’ve become spoiled?

        So this looks like it will hurt families visiting NY more than anyone ... but as I understand it it's not a hard policy either and they will still let ppl in who can't pay without ID? How is that different from how it was before?
