It's one thing to have a strict immigration policy. Quite another to jerk the rug out from under people who reasonably relied upon our upholding or own laws. Relied with their very lives.

@BBCWorld Incredible,so classy and smart, exactly the 45 standard. If Nothing else I guess EU have to look in t this and see if we can help them out. Also we got to get the message out that not more goes into the same trap.

You do not see the large picture at all,if just disregarding the stupidity with the bans, this is about people 45 lured in believing he was interested in helping them against religious oppression in Iran. Now they are caught in a limbo. And others have to handle the situation.

Iran is one of the 8 countries that Trump banned so why are people surprised? It would be bad if he only accepted the Christians from Iran while neglecting the Muslims. People do you have any idea of how the refugee program is working for Europe? It’s terrible!

They are human beings and not pawns in the chessboard of humanity. It is children, women and men who leave or are forced to leave their homes for various reasons, who share the same legitimate desire to have a better life. Right of asylum, it is human right!

I wish America was still the promised land they need. Alas, if I could get them a message, I'd urge a change of destination. It's not safe for them here either. And it breaks my heart.
