It should be criminalised. It is mutilation. Religions change and they can invent some new rite. Some jews already do that.

Disagree.
-
Good for you but the fact is, no one has the right to breach the autonomy of anyone else's body. Period.
-
If one, as an adult, chooses to get circumcised, fine, of course. Since people that believe in G-d believe in an intelligent one, they should realise this cannot represent a problem.

That is wrong nothing wrong with circumcision plus older men have big problems cleaning under foreskin causes lots of trouble when they can no longer clean properly infections all the time
-
You obviously don't have a foreskin. If you did you wouldn't post such uninformed rubbish! I would HATE to lose mine. 90% of sensation during sex / masturbation. The triggering of orgasm. Keeping the glans moist & protected. Same function as a clitoris.

The practice is no less barbaric on boys as it is on girls. It should be banned.

Long live Iceland. May logic and child rights win. May religious fascism, child abuse end.

The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) says the benefits of circumcision outweigh the risks.
-
easy for them to say
-
Not sure what you're implying. "The mission of the American Academy of Pediatrics is to attain optimal physical, mental, and social health and well-being for all infants, children, adolescents and young adults." They are the leading pediatric medical group in the U.S.

Only because they make a whole lot of money from ithttp://knowledgenuts.com/2013/09/23/the-bizarrely-profitable-business-of-baby-foreskins/ …

NEWS: being clean and healthy may become a crime in Iceland.

Not at all. Mutilating your children will be a crime soon. And should be so everywhere.

#i2 In 2015, the NYT editorial board rightly warned that the decision by@BilldeBlasio "simply to let the mohels do their thing" i/r/o metzitzah b'peh "jeopardized" the health and safety of NYC infants. So what happened?@DrSueBlank@NYDailyNews@nypost -
-
Especially when 2015 NYT was proven right! Last year, it was revealed - by your competitors - that (1) the NYC Health Dep't covered up new herpes cases, (2) the "community" refuses to cooperate & (3) the DeBlasio policy is an utter failure:http://www.nydailynews.com/new-york/manhattan/nyc-infant-herpes-cases-linked-jewish-circumcision-found-article-1.2992400 …
-
So where does 2018 NYT stand? Are you going to start doing your job of reporting the news? Or are you going to leave that to the Daily News, New York Post, the Independent and the Guardian, all of whom covered the story while you stayed silent?
