It is scientifically proven that selling a cake to a gay couple is far less likely to kill someone than selling a gun to an underaged person

Hello? You can’t sell alcohol to anyone under 21. Is that “age discrimination”? Have you noticed gun nuts are not very bright?

Or, following the analogy gun nuts like, cars. “Would we should ban cars??” No, but restrict who can get a permit (not too young or old), test them, make’em go through bureaucracy, restrict its use to specific places, force owners to buy insurance, etc.

If cars require registration, insurance, a license to drive, and minimum age requirements then weapons that simply require a squeeze of a trigger to kill should follow similar cautions. Cars must be “street legal”. Guns must also be “street legal”.

Even higher restrictions since cars could be dangerous but aren’t specifically designed to KILL people in the more efficient way. There should be a burdensome process to justify owning something that does the latter.

sad that he can't reason this out on his own. Not hard, killing children is bad. Providing easy access to said weapons is bad. Therefore, Dick's has taken a courageous step in saying they want no part of that business.

Wow... A store deciding to not carry an item because of safety concerns and putting an age requirement on purchases is not the same as denying services to someone because of their sexual orientation.... One is based on a safety concern and the other is based on intolerance.

Why would you bother amplifying such a stupid, wrong take? You just keep getting worse with this "have to show both sides" bullshit. Some "opinions" don't need to be seen, they just need to be refuted.

The translation, based on that sentence, is "Gosh, it's so hard to understand what people keep getting outraged at," implying that the bakers' position is defensible in the United States, and actually it's just the left that is getting outraged about nothing. My take at least
