You can clone your dogs just like Barbra Streisand did. It'll only cost you $50,000.http://nyti.ms/2HPQIBI

Or you can get a genetically unique dog for as little as $0.

It’s her money, but why not adopt a couple pups and donate 45000 to your local shelter? So many homeless out there with great personalities #Rescue

This is a sad act; there are so many pups that already exist that need homes.

I’m sure there are dogs in shelters or sanctuaries that could use a good home. We Humans need to stop playing God.

IMHO cloning pets is selfish and unethical. #AdoptDontShop @BarbaraStreisand the pedestal has suddenly crumbled #PaleBlueDot ...

More money than sense. She could have given a great life to an unloved dog that already existed.

The article makes a point about what happens to the dogs when they're no longer needed? We know labs are infamous for destroying anything after it's used! So $50,000, to a shelter, would have been a far better and humane way, for Ms. Streisand to remember her beloved pet!

This is horrific, inhumane, and it's NOT THE SAME DOG! The Times article didn't tell you that the donor dogs are put down after the c section.( Can't lose the expensive pup), secondly, there are plenty of dogs that need homes already living, and third, I'S NOT THE SAME DOG!
