Yeah sure, while Trump backed out of TPP and gave China control of tbe Pacific Rim, all for the price of licenses for his daughter to market clothes in China. When is NYTimes going to call out this SOB for the traitor that he is rather than printing the BS that comes out of WH?

It's unfortunate that the US & WTO welcomed China into trade so unconditionally, then proceeded to lend its balance sheet equally unconditionally to the purchase of Chinese goods. But having done that, some pretty thoughtful solutions are going to be needed for the US.

The real historical fact is that the more #US Empire extends its military presence in countries around the world, the more it is getting isolated.

Funny indeed how quick Trump's anti-China narrative faded out of existence the moment he stepped into office. Xi is a tyrant only slightly less evil than Jong-Un. The only major difference is that China has money and North Korea doesn't.

For a significant number, money is just a means to an end. Power & prestige mean more to them than money. Case in point: @NancyPelosi
