@TurnOnTheGame1 @turnonthegame How about fix one problem at a time! Last I checked alcohol is still legal and responsible for many deaths by way of auto accidents! Fix one problem before you attack another!!

Both are mind altering and should be regulated. Consequences should be much harsher than they are now. Especially if you out here killing people while impaired behind the wheel.

Imagine how short that study would be. “It defies all logic, but apparently ‘getting hit by a car’ is the biggest cause of traffic-related pedestrian death.”

Eating and driving is also probably a cause of pedestrian deaths. Doesn’t mean it’s “to blame.” Kinda disappointed to see such a sensationalist headline from the NYT.

People being unable to put their phones away when driving or walking. That's one major cause.

For me, it makes me the safest driver ever. Rushing, changing lanes, speeding, risky maneuvering are reasons for accidents and usually the opposite of how I at least drive under the influence of it.

I feel the same way personally, but let's not encourage anyone to drive under the influence, yeah? Especially with all the high potency stuff on the market these days, a non-regular smoker is easily at risk of causing a collision.

That this doesn't occur to people boggles my mind. It's not like since a few states legalized it there has been such a MASSIVE inflow of more smokers who are crashing their cars all over the place. Correlation != Causation What a garbage article.
