My 2 cents. Mr. Carson, hope & pray that your blessings & way of life is NEVER altered by the Universe & you would need assistance from a HUD program, to have affordable housing to put that dining set in!

Or, perhaps we should hope that his life is altered and he needs assistance, as it is likely the only way that his eyes and his heart will be opened.

Maybe if we save the $1.50 in each check from the yuge tax break.....

...and if we pooled it together, we could buy one $31k dining room set & pass it around, so we could each get to use it for a 24 hr period. We can dub it the Ben Carson Poor People's Dining Room Set, set up its own FB, Instagram & Twitter pages and take selfies with it to post.

@SecretaryCarson the Secretary of Public Housing spends $31k on a dining room set? Drain the swamp? I'm will to bet you have never paid $31k for dining room sets going back 3 of your generation!

Hey Ben Carson...I bought a beautiful dining room table & chairs at Wayfair for under $1500. Would you like me to send you the link? Or do you prefer to waste our tax dollars on a table you most likely sit at for less than 2 hours a day??

HUD spends $30,000 & you make it an issue?! HUD & the USDA should be a shamed. You gave the governt of PR millions in top of the billions you hand them a year to support people living of you for generations in public housing & public assistance. Make that an issue to talk about.

Puerto Rico is a US territory. It's literally our federal government's job to give their poor & suffering & homeless aid and relief. A $30,000 dining room set paid for with taxypayer money benefits nobody but Ben Carson. So yeah. It's an issue.

Fake?! That’s why the government looks away from the truth bqz of people like you not knowing the the truth. How did it go for the thousands who ran to US after hurricane? They thought going out there for public assistance would be same & they got fucked. They need to work!!

"The purchase of the custom hardwood table, chairs and hutch" "— just as the White House circulated its plans to slash HUD’s programs for the homeless, elderly and poor, according to federal procurement records." ...I mean, maybe it has built in laptops or tvs for $30k+?
