"You'd think there would be better results, especially given the public pressure and the ratings and box office evidence, which clearly show that diversity sells," said the author of an annual reporthttp://nyti.ms/2GQ4Utn

I’m all for diversity in Hollywood, however, taking Black Panther as proof for the hypothesis is little misguided, 1. Marvel films rack up a lot cash 2. BP promo has been championed and promoted by all of the entertainment community, and it has an outstanding album to support it

diversity should, it's our society. However, diversity should include political discourse; that's where the elites scrap diversity

I saw Black Panther & thought it was great. Don't call it diverse though. Reversing the numbers of those typically seen in a Hollywood movie does not make for "diversity". I'm all for making movies representative of society - just don't make it a quota.

Original diversity sells, not forced. When Hollywood remakes older movies and adds a female only cast to Ghostbusters? Eh...not so much

People want to see cinematic heroes that they can identify with, in other words: Winners. As long as a society is extremely unequal along ethnic and sexual lines, all that diversity is nothing but window dressing. Make sure that every social earns roughly the same amount of money

Well, if it did, this movie would do horribly. Its one of the least diverse movies ive seen in a while. An almost entire cast of the same race. Diversity means many different races. Not all the same race. Bakkas
