Medals do not good commentators make. They're uninformed and needlessly mean to skaters

They are absolutely informed. They are not mean, they just don’t sugar-coat it. I felt like I actually understood where each skater stood in the competition listening to them.

I'm a figure skater and I've never liked their style of commentary. I would highly prefer someone more informed like Adam Rippon to commentate. I was not rude to you, so I would appreciate a little decency in your reply.

Saw another report that said 21. Please advise. Also, does ANYONE really care how many suitcases these two brought? Seems dumb.

Popped into my feed and fired off a quick reply. Have seen this story regurgitated at least 5x already. Wondering if people actually care about the number of suitcases!?

To be fair, most of those were just from a series of suitcases in ever-slightly-larger suitcases, like nesting dolls.

Thank GOD Olympics are over!! Couldn’t stand 5 more minutes of these two! What a waste of money sending all these suitcases!! C’mon NBC...you’re better than that!! Oh wait?? Maybe not! You have Mike Milbury!!

They were not the only Olympic commentators. My problem with the coverage is that they showed so little of the events, and kept switching coverage between regular NBC and NBCSN/streaming, so it was hard to stick with an event. Too many commercials & fluff.
