        This article seems less than conclusive. Basically it sounds like a theory, not a study. Also, I’ve always been a fast eater and have always been underweight. Still weigh around 100lbs, in my 30s, even after having 2 kids. Weighed the same since HS. Their “study” needs work.

        Doesn’t help that schools perpetuate this. High school lunches are usually max 25min. That includes getting to the cafeteria, waiting in line if you’re getting school lunch, and then getting back to class in time so you don’t get in trouble. Sometimes leaves only 10/15min to eat.

        It’s true don’t need a study for that fact. I have never seen a normal weight person eat as fast as heavier person.
