Lol @ the framing. “Evil sexist men keeping women out of decentralized space.” The fact that there has to be all this campaigning to get women interested in Crypto should tell you the imbalance has more to do with lack of interest than any kind of oppression.

I've been in crypto since 2013 I'm not saying women can't be part, I'm just saying it is quite sexist relive to other things. I
crypto and the crypto men that come with it -
I think the space is just very male(because of interest, not oppression) and as such the men have not felt any need to police themselves up till now(hence, the strip clubs and bikini models.)
-
I don't think it's oppression I think young men like crypto and strip clubs, nothing wrong with that. It's becoming more mainstream now and generally the population as a whole won't put up with that. I'm glad don't feel comfortable as a woman talking crypto at a strip club
-
Exactly. I see the same thing on the reddit threads with the dick jokes and all that, which stops once they realize that there women among them. So there’ll be organic change before long without any need to bring the ‘men are oppressors’ talking point into Crypto.

Nobody is stopping women from buying cryptocurrency.
-
No but it was a real old boys club, incredibley sexist. Promotion events at strip clubs. Still is but it's toned down a lot.
-
I was actually thinking this a while back when an alt-coin's Twitter account had a bunch of chicks in bikinis as it's background image lol. Definitely a boy's club
-
Once again, nobody is stopping women from doing the same.
-
No one has suggested that, so I'm not sure why you keep tweeting it.
-
“Women, consider crypto,” Alexia Bonatsos, a venture capitalist, wrote on Twitter. “Otherwise the men are going to get all the wealth, again.” The article implores women to get into cryptocurrency because men are doing it more often. Nobody is stopping them. Go ahead.
-
Okay this the third time you have tweeted no one is stopping women when not a single person here has suggested someone is stopping women. Please go do something more productive, like beat your head against a wall.
-
Yeah, okay.

Another attempt by a liberal news source to infect another topic with claims of sexism. Every guy I know encourages both men and women to get in the crypto game. Way out of touch article, but right on par for nyt’s body of work.
