Russian athletes will not be allowed to march in the Olympic closing ceremony with their national colors or flag. The decision came after two failed drug tests by Russian athletes.http://nyti.ms/2oo880i

The Russians should never have been allowed to participate in the Olympics for the same reason. The Russian athletes should never have received any medals & they should be forced to return them or bar them from the next 2 Olympics!

Absolutely agree. There should be real consequences for cheating. They got a slap on the wrist.

It is unfortunate that the talented Russian athletes who perform on their own merit and ability, like Zagitova and Medvedeva are punished by the actions of those who can only compete if they take illegal substances. Unfortunately the message must be sent to all nations.

So sad that 2 people ruin it for the rest of them that have worked so hard to get there.

Great, except they’re still competing and winning medals. I think Russia (OAR) & the IOC, have a completely different definition of the word banned. Maybe they need some clarification: Russian athletes shouldn’t be there.

Maybe the Olympic committee could go help Trump with getting those sanctions signed for Russia meddling in the US elections...

Russian athletes should not be allowed to the Olympics for the next 5 summer and winter editions! They never learn!

Do all those that win a medal at the Olympics get tested after they win it? Would be interesting to know.
