Federal, state and local governments have spent more than $20 billion on levees, flood walls, gates and pumps in greater New Orleans since Hurricane Katrina. Experts say that is not enough.http://nyti.ms/2ovBtW1

The latest threat to Louisiana’s coast is an aphid-like insect that, along with nutria and feral hogs, is destroying the vegetation essential to keeping the wetlands from dissolving.http://nyti.ms/2FtxelO

This special report on Louisiana’s vanishing coast, and the people who live there, depicts a losing race against time, one likely to be replicated in coastal zones around the world as sea levels rise. http://nyti.ms/2GFYgph pic.twitter.com/WSkeSgg6zB

Ignore me because I’m a woman, and I’m not an engineer but I CAN solve this, there is breakthrough invention that can solve this, though I can’t do it alone but with team of experts. It’s not about flood gates and flood walls & pumps. Spell breakthrough solution.

US Department of Labor, Philadelphia has my unpaid labor since 2012. And do you know how much? It’s the kind that will rip your heart. Modern Slavery (Salary Pay Grade1) from convicted Fraud Employer from the Philippines.
#NoToModernSlavery Ever again! -
WHY is this important? They’re delaying the release of my check. It’s a shame that these people at Dept of Labor(Philadelphia)giving me a hard time will soon find out same woman they’re giving a hard time is the woman who will demonstrate how to solve US Wildfires&Coastal Flooding

You’ll remember the delay you’re causing, when this happens: https://twitter.com/raygibbs1/status/967455949580619776 … Good luck.

Obviously the climate change deniers don’t need any help. They can use prayer, and shoot up the ocean with their guns if it invades their homes

Lots of reasons for Louisiana’s coast being under threat. Climate change is the least important. Sea level rise very slow and NOT accelerating as some would have you believe! Don’t be deceived by the CAGW crowd. They have different motives.
-
Ken, if you are seriously suggesting that climate change due to inc’ CO2 levels as a result of mans’ activity isn’t happening I am flabbergasted. This position does you no credit and if true, I for one can never vote for you again. I will also ensure that others know your views
-
Read my reply more carefully. I said any sea level rise due to climate change is the least important factor. That is not saying the climate is not changing. I will thank you not to misrepresent what I wrote.
-
Ken, your language and the use of the CAGW tag implies something else. If I have misrepresented you then I apologise, but please settle the discussion for your voters by stating what your position is on the subject. That way misinterpretation of language can be avoided.

Catastrophic Man Made Climate Change aka Global Warming is a hoax. The world tempreture increase depends on a variety of factors: increasing solar activity, change in orbit & tilt of earth, vulcanic activity, etc. Founder of Green Peace interview.https://youtu.be/ZDK1aCqqZkQ

One point of view which you are entitled to hold, Ken, what’s your view on this statement ?
-
No time to watch a 55 minute interview but I know the guy changed his mind and left Greenpeace that he founded.
-
Thank you for clarifying your position, I think? Unless you want this opportunity to add anything further? Just need to know where I stand as a voter re a very important global issue. It may differ from yours but that’s fine, that’s healthy debate.
