President Trump announced that he would be relying on the ATF to regulate "bump stocks." But he's left the critical agency understaffed, underfunded, and without a permanent director.http://nyti.ms/2oqeJXk

You can in any event bump fire semi-automatic rifles without special stocks, as numerous youtube videos demonstrate.

My senators and rep from my state have received over $155,000 from the NRA in direct and indirect contributions. What has your congressmen received? This congress is owned by the NRA and their profit is more important than our children's lives.

Bump stocks are so useless in real life situation unless you are spraying and praying in compact quarters with lots of compact targets inside that I see no practical or commercial value in keeping them. Get rid of them. Only crazies would use them anyway

So this means nothing is going to change. If you don't have the people to oversee the regulation of bump stocks, how will it change?

You know you can just 3d-print 'bump stocks' right? No regulation or legislation can stop that.

Yes. It costs about $300 for a decent 3d-printer. Here is an NRA enthusiast doing exactly this: https://youtu.be/0B100yOYgn0  In five to eight years a metal (powder) 3d-printer will cost $1000. Then you can print the entire gun.

when there are mass shootings may be a tacit admission that, quite the contrary, the NRA "loves it" because it results in more gun sales. That and the pretext to watch their "paid expert witnesses" (the artists formerly known as Congressional representatives) preach their lies.
