How long is the NYT going to insist that people who love guns have some sort of credibility over people who don't? It's disgusting. I've never owned a gun. And unlike the gun nuts who have had a change of heart, I've been right all along.

No... He used a fully automatic weapon. He did NOT use a civilian AR in the military. Get your facts straight. False narrative.

Smells fishy, if he used a real assult rifle in the army then he knows there are no real assult rifles in the retail market to ban. Nothing more than a political ploy to garner votes.Sad indeed!

I don't blame him banning really, honestly though why do we seriously need semi and fully automatic weapons for anyway.

We dont have fully automatic weapons available to the public. And a 9mm pistol can be a semi auto.

AR-15 one of the most bought rifles in the US and you're saying its not automatic?

Correct. One pull of the trigger only releases one bullet on an AR 15

If you pull the triggerin such a way that one bullet comes out, or you make the switch for it to become automatic
