I am happy for him that he is proud of cutting regulations. I think the cuts will hurt consumers, financial market stability, workers, students, and the environment.

As Machiavelli taught us, if you're going to lie, make it a whopper. In MBA school, they taught future auditors not to look for differences of $20,000, look for differences of $200,000,000. Same idea here.

Even if this were true, “cutting regulations” is not inherently good. The critical question is which regulations have been cut. Quality over quantity, you might say.

What I don't understand are the people who know he lies constantly, don't care that he lies constantly, all the while trusting him completely. I mean, how much more dangerously delusional and benighted can a group of people become? Where does it stop?

Stop saying 'not quite' as if he's just a tad off. Say 'lie' because that's what it is.
