So arm up the teachers! Totally see how that makes sense. Armed cop (correctly) reacts cautiously. So give the untrained, non-aggressive, non-action hero teachers Uzis. problem solved.

Rocket launchers. Grenades. Maybe a tactical nuke. I realize I’m making a joke here, but fuck this is all so sad and maddening and I wish we were better as a country.

The cowardice is on the part of the American people and our representatives, not a man who reacted the way the vast majority of other Americans would faced with the same situation, deputized or not.

Hence the quotes. Could be that the good guy/bad guy is a fallacy.

There is no "good guy". It's a story they make up to sell more guns.

An Obama commissioned CDC study disagrees, shows that armed citizens deter/prevent or decrease fatalities. (Incarcerated criminals agree an armed person would’ve stopped them from committing the crime ):pic.twitter.com/rQ6NJJeXRS

Ah, so you favor a comprehensive study of gun violence? That's good, bc the NRA doesn't.

How about he wanted to get home to his family seeing how he couldn't match the weapon of warfare he could hear going off inside. Whatever spin you put on it, point is, he was armed and he was no use. There goes that argument about the good guys with a gun.
