@realDonaldTrump this is what happens to those who mine for coal, dear.

Looks like coal is still winning the war on coal.
-
It's actually pretty tragic. Many miners have been offered retraining and reject it. It's suicide.
-
They know that.
-
Then why don't they retrain? For their children if not for themselves?
-
Because unfortunately they can retrain for jobs that will make less money or that do not exist. Coal country is a sad and depressing place for people to make a living...there's got to be something we can do for our fellow Americans to earn a livelihood without coal mining

-
Wow. I misinterpreted your reply. That's truly heartbreaking. Empty promises for a fuel source that is becoming increasingly irrelevant

I feel so bad for those people. Damn shame. Why are we bringing back coal mining? Is it really worth it?
-
Not really coming back, propaganda. Importing
-
Yeah those miners with early-/ mid-/ or end- stage black lung disease are all just paid actors right? Just actors with black lung disease? Smh
-
I think what she was trying to say is coal mining is dying out. It's still there, & there has been a little growth, but nothing compared to the "good ol' days." The propaganda is that GOP et al are touting coal can be like it was, when in reality there are much better options.
-
Ah, then that absolutely makes sense. Thank you kind person

But this isn't a surprise. Not to anyone. We've known for years what coal dust does to the lungs. And the fact that this administration is still pushing coal, instead of retraining miners in other, up and coming technologies, tells me no one really gives a damn.
-
What is unacceptable? For generations our miners have died from black lung. My grandfather did. It's beyond time to retrain all miners & see to it they receive the healthcare needed as well as their pensions.
-
They have the right to choose not to retrain, and seems that many do not choose to retrain. It's beyond sad that they were not prepared adequately for a world that changes. We need to properly

The really sad part is that the people that they have voted into office to protect them does anything but. They all deserve so much better.
-
I agree with the first part, but not the second. They deserve exactly what they voted for. Elections have consequences and they fucked the rest of us, so why should they deserve better? They got exactly what they asked for.

There are groups retraining for new industries in coal country and Clinton had pages of plans w money that would’ve expanded that work. I don’t feel bad for people that decided to vote for trump, put the country into misery for their short-term gain and
