So his answer to gun violence is more guns. He is nothing but an NRA puppet.

the police are police - it's their job description. teachers are there to inspire & educate, not to kill. what's next - lunch ladies with grenades?

I suggest you take a look around other Western countries and inquire why this issue doesn't exist anywhere else. Spoiler. It's the guns. Arming the teachers will result in more deaths.

I have read many teachers pointing out that a real issue maybe the kids trying to open/find/take/play with the gun boxes or the guns. More chilling was the option that the access to gun may increase the chance somebody using it to shoot.

Teachers aren’t over worked and under paid enough? They have to become members of a SWAT team now? 😐

Trump is a narcissistically psychopathic idiot with a life history of aggressive, sadistic behavior. Violence & revenge are his M.O. He is unfit to make decisions about this matter, or any other related to sentient beings.

And we, mental health professionals, have reported him, repeatedly, to "authorities." And just as nothing is done by "authorities" to stop mass killers w/guns, not a thing is being done to stop the mass killer w/nuclear weapons.

My husband has taught for 35 years in public schools. His special training is a Masters Degree. He would protect any child with his life. He is the senior educator in his school. He would not carry a gun. Never bring a knife to a gunfight nor a handgun to a mass murder.

This will be interesting. School teachers basically provide materials themselves for their classes because there is no money. Now we are buying Glocks in bulk, ammo, cleaning kits and have money for training them. #conservativespending

Could we start by arming teachers with adequate pencils and books? How about arming them with appropriate training and assistance for special needs kids? We have money for guns but not actual educational equipment?
