Of course white ppl feel offended because they feel excluded. The article is about how as a black nerd he never felt represented in films and BP changes that. I'm white, loved it, but this movie is truly an achievement of and for black ppl and that's GOOD.

Nerds? Black nerds? One hadn’t considered many of the Marvel productions as Nerdville preoccupations. Fans of Stan Lee span the spectrum of super hero admirers. Until now, hadn’t considered any of this to have much “nerd quotient”. Worth thinking about.

Loved this. But it's not just meaningful to "black nerds". It's for all African nerds too! As someone born there and a comic book lover I felt like it was made for specifically for me. Loved it.
