Hey, @POTUS & @GOP-led Congress, Connecticut has shown what real action is in the wake of a mass shooting. Now, it's your turn to act. Anything less than CT's leadership means you support mass shootings. @DNC @CTDems @CTGOP @GovMalloyOffice

The point is that Cruz would not have been able to purchase the weapon in Conn. Did you read the article?

CDC stats show 6 teens are killed, 500 teens injured everyday in car accidents - yet nobody is suggesting that cars are to be banned. Why? Because they know the cars are not at fault. Neither are guns. @seanhannity @FoxNews @rushlimbaugh @CNN

Cars are used to send people from point A to point B. With technology and laws we've made cars safer, and that's why less and less people are being killed by cars, Guns, serve no other purpose but to kill. Assault weapons, serve no other purpose but to kill as many ppl as possibl

Car accidents are the #1 cause of death for teen drivers. Nobody is suggesting they should be banned. Oh, and cars are not in the bill of rights.https://www.forbes.com/sites/georgeleef/2016/03/23/justice-thomas-asks-why-are-second-amendment-rights-so-easily-taken-away/amp/ …

Never in Europe have I seen anyone brandish a gun, let alone one that huge. Why does America have this?

The argument that you can’t regulate gun ownership because it won’t stop all gun crimes is rediculous. That is true of EVERY law. Legal reform is a part of many actions we should take to confront this problem. And yes, it CAN help save lives!

I'm retired, 69 years old, live in Connecticut. When I was young, I didn't think much about guns. In 1960s, a few people I knew hunted with a shotgun. No one had a machine gun. Now I hate guns. Hate them.

Guns don't pick themselves up, Guns don't load themselves, Guns don't pull their own trigger. Vehicles don't drive themselves into people. Bombs don't make themselves. Knifes don't stab people by themselves. Guess who's holding each one, A "PERSON" WAKE UP!

This just points out that ppl are going to get their hands on guns however necessary. There’s no cocaine being manufactured in US yet we are still the worlds biggest consumer. I’m sure same would happen with black market for guns.

How about you point to the success of my country, Australia, in addressing gun violence. It's a surprisingly simple strategy: BAN GUNS. And tell the naysayers to suck it up. #FloridaShooting
